‘Tis the season to be jolly – and nothing makes us jollier than being at the beach! Whether you
need a quick break from the stress the holidays bring, or you’re looking to spend the entire
holiday season away, we are here to plan your much needed beach retreat.
Along with our fantastic seven area camping resorts and their unique accommodations and
amenities, the Myrtle Beach area offers many festive events and celebrations. Parades, shows,
and Christmas lights fill the Grand Strand this time of year. There’s truly something for everyone
to enjoy and we’ve compiled some of our favorite upcoming events to check off your list.
The Great Christmas Light Show
November 21 – December 30 at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Explore and meander through this captivating celebration of lights. Santa will be visiting
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings November 25 – December 11 for photos.
38th Annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta
November 26 at 5 p.m. – Little River & North Myrtle Beach
Gather along the north end of the Intracoastal Waterway in Little River and North Myrtle Beach
and enjoy gorgeous light displays on boats of all shapes and sizes.
Nights of a Thousand Candles
November 26-January 1 from 4-9 p.m.
Experience one of the most beloved holiday events in the Southeast. See Brookgreen Gardens
come to life amid the soft glow of more than 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling
lights. Enjoy apple cider while you hear the sounds of holiday music and celebrate the season
with family and friends.
16th Annual Rivertown Reindeer Run
December 3 from 8-10 a.m. at the Conway Marina
Take the 1-mile run/walk through historic downtown Conway that starts and stops at the marina.
Or, you can participate in the 5K.
North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade
December 3 at 5:30 p.m. on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach
Bring family and friends to Main Street and watch the creatively-decorated floats glide by during
this wonderful annual parade.
Breakfast with Santa at the Hard Rock Café
December 6, 13, and 20 from 8-9:30 a.m. at Broadway at the Beach
Price includes an amazing breakfast buffet and a picture with Santa Claus!
Under the Lights 5K
December 7 in Downtown Conway starting at 6 p.m.
Participate in this beautiful evening with a lighted course and gorgeous holiday displays. You
can also bring your dogs and complete the 1-mile walk following Santa to the Christmas Village.
8th Annual Santa Crawl on the MarshWalk
December 10 from 5-9:30 p.m. at the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk
Cheers to delicious food and holiday drinks with the best views! Dress as your favorite
Christmas character or just be festive. A Secret Santa will be wandering in and out of the crowd
with presents for best dressed.
Holiday Golf Cart Parade at Barefoot Landing
December 11 at 3 p.m. at Barefoot Landing
Decorate your golf cart in the most festive way for the opportunity to win prizes. Registration is
$10. Restaurants and shops will also be open and participate in the fun.
Christmas Lights Trolley Ride
December 21-28 at Memorial Park in Surfside Beach from 6-8 p.m.
See the beautiful town of Surfside Beach light up on this tour.
