What’s Happening:

  • Carolina Opry – Two shows in one.  Depending on the night, come see the Carolina Opry Show an amazing show put together for the most entertaining night. Comedy, dance, and music creates fun and laughs for all to enjoy. Or visit another evening called the Time Warp. Listen to music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s with quick wardrobe changes of the decades. Always take the opportunity to check the calendar for other special events. 
  • Alabama Theater – One of the South’s greatest shows bringing the family together for an uplifting experience filled with multi-genres of music from Rock to Gospel to Pop and more. Come together for the most entertaining evening. On your visit, also review the calendar for other events or one time shows taking place. 
  • GTS Theater – Enjoying 6 decades of Motown Music. Listen to music that has influenced all genres of music. Plus check their local calendar for individual shows throughout the months. 
  • Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show – Eat a multicourse meal and laugh as you watch Captain Jack and crew adventure on lands and seas, and fight for treasure! Watch the mermaids swim and birds fly. 
  • Medieval Times – Knights, jousting, laughs, and horses! Have course after course brought to you while watching a kingdom defending the queen. 

February:

  • 26th Annual Father-Daughter Valentine Ball – at Conway Sports Center, February 5th from 5 to 8. Spend a special evening together with food and fun. Dinner is included with admission. 
  • Penguins and Pancakes – February 5th and 26th at Ripley’s Aquarium. Watch the African penguins play while you fill up on pancakes and orange juice. No better way to start the day!
  • Myrtle Beach Military History Trolley Tour & Catered Reception – select Fridays through March 4th, at the Tupelo Honey at Market Common. Once the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, tour the area in a comfortable trolley as it was once a German POW Camp and Army Air Corps Airfield.  The tour ends at the Tupelo Honey for a delicious reception. 
  • Brookgreen Gardens, Romance in the Garden – February 14th at boat landing of Brookgreen Creek.  A day of Love and Celebration.  Come on this day and marry or renew wedding vowels. 
  • Horry Georgetown Home Show – February 18th at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Suppliers, contractors, professionals come together with knowledge and ideas in the building industry. 
  • 13th Annual Shuckin on the Grand Oyster Roast – February 19th in Murrells Inlet at the Hot Fish Club.  From 12-4, open to everyone for oysters and food and entertainment.  Come to the inlet for a delicious afternoon. 
  • Gullah Geechee Community Walk – February 26th, put together by Coastal Carolina at downtown Conway.  Learn of our heritage through the Gullah Geechee culture, food, language, dance, and history. 

March:

  • 28th Annual Horry County Museum Quilt Gala – March 1st thru 26th at Horry County Museum.  This Gala is open to the public. 
  • National Shag Dance Championship Finals – March 10th thru 12th, at The Spanish Galleon at the OD Beach and Gulf Resort, doors open one hours before competition. Visit their website for more information.
  • 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival – at North Myrtle Beach Main St. from 9am to 4pm. For more information visit https://parks.nmb.us/411/St-Patricks-Day-Parade-Festival.
  • Canadian – American Days – March 12th thru 20th. Celebrate at various locations in Myrtle Beach. Cam-Am Days are truly fun to celebrate!
  • 33rd Annual Run to the Sun Car Show – March 17th thru 19th at Old Myrtle Square Mall Site, 8am to 5pm. There will be prizes, gorgeous cars, guest stars, and more! Register early, this has sold out the last 10 years. 
  • Vintage Market Days – at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center on March 18th thru 20th. Come visit the indoor/outdoor market filled with jewelry, art, foods, crafts, clothing, plants, and more.  Experience a wonderful day meandering through the marketplace. 

April:

  • Myrtle Beach Pelicans – April 12th til the end of Baseball Season. at Ticketreturn.com Field. Baseball is back! Come cheer on the local team. See the baseball stars of the future from this Chicago Cubs minor team. 
  • Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Kaminski House Museum – April 16th. Gather on the grounds of the museum and follow the Easter Bunny around for a fun time for parents and children as they hunt the elusive brightly colored eggs. 
  • Singing in the Sun – at Myrtle Beach Convention Center, a six-day event that will host some of Gospel’s best artists. For ticket information visit www.abrahamproductions.net
  • SOS Spring Safari – April 21st thru May 1st at various locations in North Myrtle Beach. This is the biggest adult party with thousands of shaggers coming together from along the East coast. Enjoy live music, instructors, food, and street parties. 
  • Earth Day Celebration – at Brookgreen Gardens, April 23rd 10am to 2pm. Learn of conservation, plants, fun and educational activities for adults and children. 
  • 14th Annual Dragon Boat Festival – April 30th at Grand Park at Market Common from 9am to 10 pm.  Boats filled with paddlers and one drummer race each other for bragging rights.  Free to spectators, the event will offer drink and food vendors, live DJ, other contests, and more. This is a great day for family and friends.
