What’s Happening:

  • Carolina Opry – Two shows in one.  Depending on the night, come see the Carolina Opry Show an amazing show put together for the most entertaining night. Comedy, dance, and music creates fun and laughs for all to enjoy. Or visit another evening called the Time Warp. Listen to music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s with quick wardrobe changes of the decades. Always take the opportunity to check the calendar for other special events. 
  • Alabama Theater – One of the South’s greatest shows bringing the family together for an uplifting experience filled with multi-genres of music from Rock to Gospel to Pop and more. Come together for the most entertaining evening. On your visit, also review the calendar for other events or one time shows taking place. 
  • GTS Theater – Enjoying 6 decades of Motown Music. Listen to music that has influenced all genres of music. Plus check their local calendar for individual shows throughout the months. 
  • Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show – Eat a multicourse meal and laugh as you watch Captain Jack and crew adventure on lands and seas, and fight for treasure! Watch the mermaids swim and birds fly. 
  • Medieval Times – Knights, jousting, laughs, and horses! Have course after course brought to you while watching a kingdom defending the queen. 
  • Coastal Carolina Basketball – See the best Men and Women’s college level basketball. 

February:

  • 27th Annual Father-Daughter Valentine Ball – at Conway Sports Center, February 4th from 5 to 8. Spend a special evening together with food and fun. Dinner is included with admission. 
  • Penguins and Pancakes – February 4th, 11th, and 25th at Ripley’s Aquarium. Watch the African penguins play while you fill up on pancakes and orange juice. No better way to start the day!
  • Myrtle Beach Area Ghosts, Pirates & Historic Families Trolley Tour – February 9th at Market Common.  Ride through Murrells Inlet and more to hear stories of the past.  There are lots of history gathered in stories of ghosts, pirates, and local families. 
  • World Putting League Championship – February 13th-15th, 20th – 22th at Aloha Mini Golf. 36 players in 7 days. First prize is $5,000.  $0 entry fee.  Visit https://bit.ly/WorldPuttingLeaguePlayerForm for more details.
  • Brookgreen Gardens, Romance in the Garden – February 14th, 1:00-3:00 pm and 3:30 to 5:30 pm at The Leonard Pavilion.  A day of Love and Celebration.  Come on this day and marry or renew wedding vowels. 
  • Barefoot Queen Riverboat Valentines Packages – February 10th, 11th, 13th, and 14th. A two-hour cruise through the inter coastal waterway filled with romance and delicious food.  Cruises depart at 6:00pm. 
  • 14th Annual Shuckin on the Grand Oyster Roast – February 18th in Murrells Inlet at the Hot Fish Club.  From 12-4, open to everyone for oysters and food and entertainment.  Come to the inlet for a delicious afternoon. 
  • Penguin Dash 5K Run/Walk & Ripley’s Penguin Family Fun Run – February 18th at Ripley’s Aquarium. This is celebrating the South African Penguins with Toddler Waddles, family 1 mile fun run, and 5K run.
  • Winter Warmer – February 18th at Crooked Hammock Brewery in North Myrtle Beach from 12 to 4 pm. Stay warm and toasty in a mini backyard beer fest with some of the tastiest stouts from local breweries.  For added fun, watch the curling exhibition!
  • Gullah Geechee Community Day – February 25h, put together by Coastal Carolina at downtown Conway.  Learn of our heritage through the Gullah Geechee culture, food, language, dance, and history. 

March:

  • Breakfast with a Mermaid – March 4th through 18th at Ripley’s Aquarium from 8:00 to 10:00 am. Enjoy a delicious breakfast before it opens to the public. 
  • 33rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival – March 11th at North Myrtle Beach Main St. from 9am.  A parade with more than 100 participants to enjoy.  Come a few minutes early to get the perfect spot.  After the parade, let the festivities be enjoyed until 4:00pm. Take in the vendors, taste the authentic Irish food, drinks, and entertainment.
  • Canadian – American Days – March 11th thru 19th. Celebrate at various locations in Myrtle Beach. Cam-Am Days are truly fun to celebrate! Events are done around Myrtle Beach to learn about our coast and its people, play gold and east amazing food.
  • 34rd Annual Run to the Sun Car Show – March 16th thru 18th at Old Myrtle Square Mall Site, 8am to 5pm. There will be prizes, gorgeous cars, guest stars, and more! Register early, this has sold out the last 10 years. 
  • Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival – March 31st at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place.  Have beer, wine, live music, fun for kids, and Food Trucks! The event is from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. https://www.nspromos.com.

April:

  • Myrtle Beach Pelicans – April 6th til the end of Baseball Season at Ticketreturn.com Field. Baseball is back! Come cheer on the local team. See the baseball stars of the future from this Chicago Cubs minor team. 
  • Barefoot Bunny Hop – April 1st. 11am to 2pm at Barefoot Landing.  Egg-celent family fun and activities.  There will even be a visit from the Easter Bunny.
  • 2023 Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt – Thursday April 6th.  Lots of candy and free fun for the family.  Huge egg hunt with over 2,000 eggs stuffed with candy. The fun starts at 7 with the Easter Egg Hunt at 745 pm. Flashlights help!
  • World’s Strongest Man Competition – April 18th through 23rd at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place, Myrtle Beach. Competitions may be pulling trucks, pressing logs, anything to push physical strength. 
  • 18th Annual Myrtle Beach International Film Festival – April 18th to 22nd at Market Common.  Filmmakers, professions, and film enthusiasts come together with creativity and projects in mind.
  • Earth Day Celebration – at Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet, April 22nd 10am to 2pm. Learn of conservation, plants, fun and educational activities for adults and children. 
  • Spring Plant Sale and Art Festival – April 29th at Brookgreen Gardens. Gather to see some of the most beautiful craftsman ship, vendors, and art in a beautiful landscape.  While there, explore the shrubs, perennials, local plants, and colorful annuals, all for sale.
