What’s Happening:

  • Carolina Opry – Two shows available, Time Warp and the Carolina Opry Shows. The Carolina Opry Show has world class singers, dancers, comedians, and more. See the exciting shows highlighted by spectacular lights and effects. Time Warp brings the music of 60s, 70s, and 80s to life for this generation. Sing the classics along with the performers. 
  • Alabama Theater – Alabama Theater brings the 28th year of amazing entertainment. One Show encompasses song, dance, and showmanship. This performance is constantly changing and growing bringing a new story each year. Love the music and the enchanting spectacular. 
  • Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show – Blackbeard is at it again with his crew on the adventures across the seas. Watch as the Crimson and Sapphire crews fight on water and land. And as they battle, look for the mermaids, tropical birds, and more while enjoying a multicourse meal. 
  • Medieval Times –Watch knights compete for the victory, a jousting tournament, gorgeous horses, and weapons of steel as you indulge in a four-course meal.  Watch competitors become champions before your eyes. 
  • Music on Main – Every Thursday from August to September, in North Myrtle Beach downtown at the Horseshoe from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Experience a variety of music genres like, Rhythm and Blues, Classic Rock, Modern Rock, and especially Beach Music. 
  • Pelican’s Baseball – Come watch the future of baseball at this Cubs Affiliate team that calls Myrtle Beach home. Check website for schedule, times, special events and themes of the evening. 

August:

  • Summer Light Art by Night– June 9th thru August 21st at Brookgreen Gardens from 7:00 pm to 10 pm. Stroll through light displays, take in gorgeous works of art highlighted in the evenings for viewing. This occurs each Wednesday through Saturday. And for added fun, enjoy the nightly performances. 
  • Motown Tribute Show – August 7th and September 4th at the GTS Theatre from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Over 60 years of Motown being celebrated that influenced all music of the 60’s and 70’s and even today. Listen to the story of a music that brought soul to lives.
  • Beer and Burritos 5K Myrtle Beach – August 17th at Title Creek Brewhouse at 6:00 pm. Located in Market Common, start and at the Tidal reek Brewhouse. Take in the scenery as you explore the old Air Force Base.
  • 2021 Craftsmen’s Summer Classic – August 20th through 22nd at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Artists and Craftsmen from across the nation come to display their talents in different exhibits.  There is something available for everyone, from traditionalists to the contemporary.   
  • Playgolfmyrtlebeach.com World Amateur – August 30th through September 3rd, located at different golf courses within the Grand Strand. Play with over 3,000 other golfers competing on 60 different courses in the heart of beautiful Myrtle Beach. For more information https://myrtlebeachworldamateur.com. 

September:

  • Hot Summer Nights 2021 – September 4th at 7:00 pm at Plyler Park, across from the Sky Wheel. Listen to live free music in a family friendly environment with activities and food.  
  • Downtown Pawleys Live – Starting at 11:00 am in historic Pawley’s Island in the Island Shops. Vendors and Food Trucks along with live entertainment and music will be enjoyed throughout the day. 
  • Movies at Mclean – September 10th at Mclean Park, North Myrtle Beach. Come together with family and friends to enjoy a movie under the starts.  Movies starts at sunset, bring your blanket, chair, and snacks. 
  • 54th Annual World Championship Chili Cook Off – September 17th to September 19th at Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place. Many events created for families or enjoy different types of beers, live music, contests, and taste of different chilis and dishes.
  • Here Comes the Sun The Music of the Beatles – September 23 through the 26th at Brookgreen Gardens. This a tribute band of one of the greatest English bands, The Beatles.  Shows begin at 7:30 pm. 
  • 17th Annual Irish Italian International Festival – September 25th in North Myrtle Beach from 10:00 am to 4 pm.  Watch street performers, two stages of entertainment, international dance groups, venders, and crafts.  Local Restaurants will compete in a variety of competitions. 
  • South Carolina’s Largest Garage Sale – September 25th at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Admission is free, but parking is $5.  For more information https://www.cityofmyrtlebeach.com
