What’s Happening:

  • Carolina Opry – November 2nd through January 6th, welcome to The Carolina Opry Christmas Special being presented every day, check their website for times.  A holiday tradition that has lasted three decades with holiday favorites, music, dance, and more. Entertainment for all ages.
  • Alabama Theater – November 2nd through December 31st. The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, special effects, scenery, accumilation of great talents come together for one of the best holiday show. This performance of a mix of Holiday classics and new entertaining Christmas scenes are perfect for the whole family. 
  • GTS Theatre ­– November 4th through December 30th, Motown Christmas Tribute. The holidays celebrated through the history of Motown featuring its classics and beautiful originals.
  • Pirates Voyage – Eat and watch as the telling of Charles Dickens’ tale of A Christmas Carol with Pirates told through a multi-course dinner.  Cheer as the story comes to life while laughing as Captain Scrooge learns life’s lessons.
  • Medieval Times ­– Swords clash, the Royal Falcon sores overhead, and horses’ prance.  Enjoy dinner and drinks as knights dual with lances, swords, battle axes, and spears. Knights are fighting to be the Queen’s Champion. And while all this excitement occurs before you, devour a grand meal while dining with the Queen.

Fall’s November:

  • Murrells Inlet Boiled Peanut World Championship – November 8th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Held at Suck Bang Blow, enjoy the 1st Annual Boiled Peanut Championship. Teams compete for the title with their impressive ways to make a southern classic even better.  Bring the family and enjoy the live music with more foods available.
  • Veteran’s Day Service – at Surfside Beach on Surfside Drive from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  Honoring all those that served previously and now.  Meet at the Veteran’s Memorial.
  • Dickens Christmas Show and Festival – November 12th – 15th, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center for the last 39 years. A unique Victorian Holiday Marketplace with vendors representing the times. Merchants have their crafts, foods, jewelry, art, music, and more.  And enjoy our special guest Santa! Single day entrance ticket a multi-day passes available.
  • Mythical & Medieval Fest – November 14th and 15th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Mask required. Watch Medieval combat, fire shows, dances, princesses, and knights while wondering through the artisan’s village. All shows and live music are included with admission. Come hungry! Lots of food and turkey legs to choose from.
  • Dashing Through the Glow – November 20th, held at the North Myrtle Beach Parks and Sports Complex in Little River at 7 pm. Two-mile run/walk for fun in the coolest Christmas Light Show. Once the race is over, enjoy some hot chocolate in Santa’s Village and talk with Santa.
  • Turkey Trots – November 26th, chose the one best for your location. Three Turkey Trots to pick from: Myrtle Beach (Market Common), Surfside Beach(Surfside Pier), and North Myrtle Beach(Barefoot Landing). Look to their sites for more information.
  • Intercoastal Christmas Regatta – November 28 starting at 5:00 pm beginning at the Little River Inlet to the Dock Holidays Marina ending at 7:00 pm. See the tradition of the parade of lights on the water, This is simply a nice way to enjoy the Saturday evening after Thanksgiving. No charge but be inspired to donate toys and more for Christmas.

December’s Holiday:

  • Night of a Thousand Lights – November 27th thru December 31st from 4pm to 9pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Tens of thousands of lights shine in the dark creating magic. Take enchanting walks through the twinkling lights as carolers sing, holiday music is heard, while enjoying a warm cup of apple cider. A true event to behold with family and friends.
  • 2020 Festival of Trees –  November 30th through December 6th. All week-long events from the “Jewel Festival” to the Festival of Trees. Enjoy local shopping, food, and keepsakes only to be found in Pawleys Island.
  • Christmas Tree Lighting –  6:00 pm at Mclean Park in North Myrtle Beach. Family fun with food and drink, music, and entertainment. Start the season with a Christmas Tree Lighting!
  • Christmas Parade –  December 5th, Main Street, North Myrtle Beach.  Held at 5:30 pm, watch floats celebrating the season with lights brightening the nights.
  • Christmas Parades – December 12th. 2020 Conway Christmas Parade along downtown Conway from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Surfside Beach Christmas Parade on South Ocean Boulevard from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
