What’s Happening:

  • Carolina Opry – Two shows available, Time Warp and the Carolina Opry Shows. The Carolina Opry Show has world class singers, dancers, comedians, and more. See the exciting shows highlighted by spectacular lights and effects. Time Warp brings the music of 60s, 70s, and 80s to life for this generation. Sing the classics along with the performers. 
  • Alabama Theater – Alabama Theater brings the 28th year of amazing entertainment. One Show encompasses song, dance, and showmanship. This performance is constantly changing and growing bringing a new story each year. Love the music and the enchanting spectacular. 
  • Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show – Blackbeard is at it again with his crew on the adventures across the seas. Watch as the Crimson and Sapphire crews fight on water and land. And as they battle, look for the mermaids, tropical birds, and more while enjoying a multicourse meal. 
  • Medieval Times –Watch knights compete for the victory, a jousting tournament, gorgeous horses, and weapons of steel as you indulge in a four-course meal.  Watch competitors become champions before your eyes. 

May:

  • Annual Craft Beerfest – May 8th from 11 am to 6 pm at Blackwater Market Alley in Conway. Come for the Beer! Vendors and food will be there also.  Kelli and Larinza and Steel County Express will perform. 
  • 3rd Annual Grand Strand Comic Con – May 8th – 9th at the former JC Penny in Myrtle Beach Mall on North Kings Hwy. Entry fee is $5 – $10. Visit with special guest, celebrities, artist, and cosplayers.  There will be contest for adults and kids.
  • Blue Crab Festival – May 15th in Little River at the Waterfront. Made for family and friends, enjoy one of the largest festivals in the South. Fresh seafood from local vendors, visits local artists and their crafts, dance to beach music all along the beautiful water’s edge. 
  • Military Appreciations Days Parade and Picnic and Exhibits – May 29th at Market Common. Celebrate our military at what was once our old Air Force Base. Cheer for the Red, White, and Blue as they weave their way through Market Commons. As the parade comes to an end, take in the live entertainment, displays and more. 
  • 8th Annual Brookgreen Gardens 5K – Murrells Inlet on May 30th at 6 pm.  Run the beautifully themed gardens with gorgeous sculptures within.  Awards given for multiple age groups and levels. 

June:

  • Summer Light: Art by Night – Brookgreen Garden throughout the month of June from 7 pm to 10 pm.  At dusk, visit the gardens to see the indoor gallery display or stroll through the themed gardens with many light displays. 
  • Sun Fun Festival – June 4th through 6th in Plyler Park.  Friday night starts the festival with Vocal Edition with Tonez to follow at 7 pm. Saturday cheer for the parade that travels down Ocean Blvd at 10 am.  Enjoy sand sculpture competitions and more music performed by the Swingin Medallions.  Nothing but family and fun!
  • Coastal Classic Volleyball Tournament – at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, June 5th – June 6th. An AAU Super-Reginal Tournament bringing together excellent volleyball with engaging exercises for traveling teams.
  • Carolina Country Music Fest2021 –June 10th – June 13th at Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place in Myrtle Beach. Celebrate Country Music’s best! Artist like Luke Combs, Jake Owen, Darius Rucker and more.  Visit CCMF.com for more information for times and venue. 
  • A Dogs Way Inlet Flyers Dog Dock Diving Competition – June 18th – June 20th from 8 am to 5 pm.  Any breed, size, and shape dog may compete for longest dive, air retrieves, and the fastest hydro dashes.  This is sanctioned by North American Diving Dogs (NADD). Free to the public to watch.  
  • 2021 Conway Riverfest – Located at the Conway Marina on June 26th from 11 am to 10 pm.  Come together with the community and family to be a part of days festivities.  Live music, a kid’s fun zone, a Crafter’s Market, local food vendors and more.
