What’s Happening:

  • Carolina Opry – Two shows in one.  Depending on the night, come see the Carolina Opry Show an amazing show put together for the most entertaining night. Comedy, dance, and music creates fun and laughs for all to enjoy. Or visit another evening called the Time Warp. Listen to music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s with quick wardrobe changes of the decades. Always take the opportunity to check the calendar for other special events. 
  • Alabama Theater – One of the South’s greatest shows bringing the family together for an uplifting experience filled with multi-genres of music from Rock to Gospel to Pop and more. Come together for the most entertaining evening. On your visit, also review the calendar for other events or one time shows taking place. 
  • GTS Theater – Enjoying 6 decades of Motown Music. Listen to music that has influenced all genres of music. Plus check their local calendar for individual shows throughout the months. 
  • Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show – Eat a multi-course meal and laugh as you watch Captain Jack and crew adventure on lands and seas, and fight for treasure! Watch the mermaids swim and birds fly. 
  • Medieval Times – Knights, jousting, laughs, and horses! Have course after course brought to you while watching a kingdom defending the queen. 
  • Legends in Concert – A family friendly show appropriate for all ages. The state-of-the-art theater is located conveniently in the heart of Myrtle Beach at Broadway at The Beach. You will be entertained with performances from many tribute artists including Elvis, Michael, Blues Brothers and more.

April:

  • Myrtle Beach Pelicans – April 12th til the end of Baseball Season. at Ticketreturn.com Field. Baseball is back! Come cheer on the local team. See the baseball stars of the future from this Chicago Cubs minor team. 
  • Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Kaminski House Museum – April 16th. Gather on the grounds of the museum and follow the Easter Bunny around for a fun time for parents and children as they hunt the elusive brightly colored eggs. 
  • Singing in the Sun – at Myrtle Beach Convention Center, a six-day event that will host some of Gospel’s best artists. For ticket information visit www.abrahamproductions.net
  • SOS Spring Safari – April 21st thru May 1st at various locations in North Myrtle Beach. This is the biggest adult party with thousands of shaggers coming together from along the East coast. Enjoy live music, instructors, food, and street parties. 
  • Earth Day Celebration – at Brookgreen Gardens, April 23rd 10am to 2pm. Learn of conservation, plants, fun and educational activities for adults and children. 
  • 14th Annual Dragon Boat Festival – April 30th at Grand Park at Market Common from 9am to 10 pm.  Boats filled with paddlers and one drummer race each other for bragging rights.  Free to spectators, the event will offer drink and food vendors, live DJ, other contests, and more. This is a great day for family and friends. 

May:

  • 66th Sun Fun Festival – May 6th through 8th at Plyler Park on North Ocean Blvd.  Listen to the magic  several bands are creating combining Rock and Roll, Country, Shag Music, Motown and more.  Bands include The Tonez, Too Much Sylvia, and the Swingin’ Medallions.  
  • Beaks and Brushes: Mother’s Day Edition – May 7th, visit Ripley’s Aquarium from 10:00 to 12:00. Create memories and art with Mom at this special event celebrating her. Find inspiration in the gorgeous sea life surrounding you. 
  • Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally –May 13th through May 22nd. Held every year at various locations around the Grand Strand Area.  
  • Blue Crab Festival – May 14th to May 15th at Little River Waterfront in Little River from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Devour some of the local seafood favorites or fair yummies while taking in live beach music.
  • Mayhem in Myrtle 5 – May 21st at Landmark Resort from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.  Fight night is back! Live Pro Boxing with local favorites to start the evening followed by a packed Pro Fight Card. 
  • Military Appreciation Days Parade – May 28th at 10:30am at Market Common.  The military parade will follow Farrow Parkway at Market Common. 

June:

  • Summer Light: Art by Night – May 11th through August 13th at Brookgreen Gardens, an after-hours series. Incredible light art created throughout the botanical gardens in the evening.  A series of bands will be playing throughout the summer every Wednesday and Saturday. Food and drinks will be available during the nights. 
  • 25th Anniversary Corvettes at the Beach – June 4th at Broadway at the Beach from 8:00am to 3:00pm. There are multiple categories to win trophies.  
  • Carolina Country Music Fest 2022 – June 9th through June 12th at the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place. Celebrate Country Music’s Best!!! Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, just to name a few.  Look to the website for artist times. https://carolinacountrymusicfest.com/
  • Sounds of Summer Concert Series– June 17th through September 16th at North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex in Little River. June 17th, July 15th, August 19th, and September 16th. Music for the family’s enjoyment. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, just bring your blanket or fold out chair. 
  • Fireworks at Broadway at the Beach – Every Tuesday at 10 pm at Broadway at the Beach over the lake.  Watch a spectacular fireworks display, a night everyone will enjoy!

July:

  • Muzika! The Grand Strand Music Festival – held in various locations around the Grand Strand.  Over thirty musical performances including choral-orchestral, recitals, chamber music, full productions opera, classical musical theater, and more.  A special opportunity to enjoy all forms of music. 
  • 15th Annual Red, White, and Blue 5k–July 4th at Barefoot Landing.  This is a USATF certified course through gorgeous landscapes. 
  • 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza at Broadway at the Beach– July 4th with fireworks beginning at 10pm. Bring family, blankets, and chairs to take in the night. 
  • Jet Fest 2022 – July 14th to July 17th meeting Wednesday at Archies in North Myrtle Beach.  Spend time on your jet ski starting Thursday and Friday around 9 or 10 until mid afternoon.  
  • Gospel Brunch Cruise – on the Barefoot Queen Riverboat starting Easter Sunday through the month of October rejuvenate and feel uplifted on the coastal waters while having a delicious brunch. 
  • The Final Mustang Week – July 25th to 31st at Myrtle Beach Mall on Kings Hwy.  After 20 years, one final event to celebrate an American Classic.
