This is just a sampling of many activities in the Myrtle Beach area available to our guests. Our live theaters continue to delight visitors. Holiday Shows will be opening soon.

ALABAMA THEATRE:
This exciting nightly show is a favorite with guests.  They also schedule special concert appearances with name artists. Check their schedule for these events.

CAROLINA OPRY:
Carolina Opry, a very popular variety show offers The Time Warp Show and other specials throughout the year.  Do not miss this one!

LEGENDS IN CONCERT:
This is a fun show where live impersonators revive both living and dead artists.  Check out your favorite performer.  2018 schedule began on February 9 with the Blues Brothers. 

MEDIEVAL TIMES DINNER & TOURNAMENT:
Travel through the mists of time to a forgotten age of epic battles of “Steel and Steed” which enjoying a delicious 4-course meal.  The castle opened for its 2018 season on January 19, 2018.

PIRATES VOYAGE DINNER & SHOW:
Join Captain Blackbeard and his crew as they search for lost treasure on land, on deck & in water with spectacular acrobatic competitions, animals, birds and beautiful mermaids.

HERE IS WHAT’S HAPPENING 

“Second Saturdays” at the Kaminiski House Museum – Watch how the local sweet grass basket-making is created. Meet with Ms. Glover, on the second Saturday of each month until January 12th, and experience a Lowcountry tradition.

Music on Main Concert Series – August 23-September 27, 2018 at the Horseshoe in North Myrtle Beach from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Listen to live bands on Main Street bringing families together enjoying music, shopping, and dancing.

Myrtle Beach State Park – Weekly activities include: Plethora of Plants, Backyard Bird ID, What Wildlife Will A-Pier?, Reptile Rap, Palmetto Campout, and Beach Sweep. Share the hands-on experience of local nature. Visit http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/myrtle-beach for more detail.
 

September Events:

SOS Fall Migration – Held in various lounges and clubs around Myrtle Beach from September 14 – September 23, 2018. Shag the last days of summer away with family and friends in truly unique beach tradition.

43rd Annual Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival - September 28 - September 30, 2018 at Huntington Beach State Park. Join a multitude of diverse artists as they display their imaginative crafts and creations in a beautiful natural beach setting.
 

October Events:

8th Annual Conway Fall Festival – Held in historic downtown Conway on Saturday October 7th from 10:00 am -5:00 pm. Lots of food, arts, crafts, and with classic cars on display.

Festa Italiana – October 6, 2018, located at Market Commons from 11:00 am -6:00 pm hosted by The Sons & Daughters of Italy Myrtle Beach Lodge, No. 2662. Experience authentic main dishes and homemade Italian desserts. Take in the live music, explore the crafts, and watch the spaghetti & pizza eating contests.

Harvest Home Weekend Festival - October 6th – October 7th, 9:30 am -4: 00 pm at Brookgreen Gardens. The entire family can participate in pumpkin painting, hayrides, animals, and scarecrow creating!

12th Annual Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest – Come to Valor Park at The Market Common, October 13 from 11:00am – 7:00 pm. Pony rides, children’s activities, and lots of vendors. Try the Oktoberfest beer and more.

Little River ShrimpFest – Held in historic Little River Waterfront from October 13th – 14th were family and friends come together to savor fresh local seafood with food, crafts, kid’s activities, face painting, balloon artist, stilt walkers, and more. Live music on 2 stages.

39th Annual Loris Bog-off Festival – Visit Loris on October 20th. A huge event that celebrates the art of Chicken Bog. Bring your own recipe of chicken, sausage, rice, and spices to be part of the contest, or enjoy dishes made by local chefs. The whole family will be entertained with live music and performances by local dance schools.

Atalaya Fall Festival & Haunted Castle – located at Huntington Beach State Park on October 26th – 27th, great fun for the family including spooky movies, haunted houses, a great bonfire and more.
