This is just a sampling of many activities in the Myrtle Beach area available to our guests.   Our exciting live theaters are opening their 2018 seasons with shows you will not want to miss.


The new 2018 “One the Show” premieres on February 3, 2018.  This exciting nightly show is a favorite with guests.  They also schedule special concert appearances with name artists. Check their schedule for these events.


This very popular theatre opens its 2018 season on January 23, 2018 with the Carolina Opry variety show and offers The Time Warp Show and other specials throughout the year.


This is a fun show where live impersonators revive both living and dead artists.  Check out your favorite performer.  2018 schedule begins on February 9 with the Blues Brothers.


Travel through the mists of time to a forgotten age of  epic battles of “Steel and Steed” which enjoying a delicious 4-course meal.  The castle opens for its 2018 season on January 19, 2018.


Join Captain Blackbeard and his crew as they search for lost treasure on land, on deck & in water with spectacular acrobatic competitions, animals, birds and beautiful mermaids.  2018 season begins on February 9, 2018.

What’s Happening:

Get Ready for Some Baseball! Myrtle Beach Pelicans, part of the Cubs organization, has started their season. See their webpage for game times and themed nights held at TicketReturn.Com Field. Check their schedule for firework displays.

Brookgreen Gardens Summer Lights Festival – held until August 18th from 7:00-10:00 pm nightly Wednesday through Saturday. The theme this year is Chinese Lanterns that will be featured throughout the gardens and zoo. Games, crafts, food, and varying performances will be available to enjoy.

Myrtle Beach Hot Summer Nights – Throughout the summer until September 2, 2018. Visit Plyler Park and Oceanfront Boardwalk each night for entertainment, including fireworks Wednesday nights at 10:00pm.

Myrtle Beach State Park – Reoccurring weekly various activities including Paint by Nature, a Crabby Experience, Giants of the Deep, Legends of the Forest, and Destination Turtle DNA. Share the hands-on experience of local nature. Visit for more detail.

Summer Nights at Broadway at the Beach – Featuring a collection of free live entertainment, performers, character visits, live music, dance parties, stilt-walkers, and fire dancers all found along the locations at Broadway at the beach. Along with all the excitement, enjoy fireworks Tuesday and Friday nights at 10:00pm.

Surfside Sunday Beach Serenades – Reoccurring Sundays through July and August at Passive Park in Surfside Beach from 2:00–5:00pm. Come together at the outdoor concerts performed by talented local musicians.

North Inlet Paddle – Held at Hobcaw Barony Discovery Center/North Inlet-Winyah Bay Estuarine Research Reserve from 8:30am-1:00pm. Tour through the creeks of the  North Inlet learning of the ecosystem and over view of the natural history. Be sure to bring a camera to capture nature’s beauty.
