This is just a sampling of many activities in the Myrtle Beach area available to our guests. Our live theaters continue to delight visitors. Exciting new shows for 2019 are now open.

This exciting nightly show is a favorite with guests.  They also schedule special concert appearances with name artists. Check their schedule for these events.

Carolina Opry, a very popular variety show offers The Time Warp Show and other specials throughout the year.  Do not miss this one!

This is a fun show where live impersonators revive both living and dead artists.  Check out your favorite performer.  You will be very surprised at the entertainers that appear nightly. 

Travel through the mists of time to a forgotten age of epic battles of “Steel and Steed” which enjoying a delicious 4-course meal.  The castle is now open for its 2019 season.

Join Captain Blackbeard and his crew as they search for lost treasure on land, on deck & in water with spectacular acrobatic competitions, animals, birds and beautiful mermaids.

Chilly January:

A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline – January 18th -January 19th, held at the Alabama Theater, gives people to have the opportunity to listen to Patsy Cline’s most known songs in this incredible recreation.
Winter Education Exhibit – January 7th – March 17th at the Lowcountry Center Learning Lab in Murrells Inlet, explore visual art by local artist celebrating the Gullah Geechee in our Lowcountry.
Whose Beach Is It Anyway? Improve Comedy – This show is running from January 5th through February 2nd at the Uptown Theater at the Myrtle Beach Mall.  The audience becomes part of the show as they use their ideas and suggestions creating instant comedy.
Tanya Tucker – January 26th at the Carolina Opry Theater at 6:00pm. Including 23 top 40 albums, 56 top 40 hits over four decades, Tanya Tucker is here for one night only singing with her powerful, sultry country voice.
Taste of the MarshWalk – January 26th – January 27th at the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk. The 6th Annual Taste of the MarshWalk held from 11am to 4pm. Sample local chefs’ creations, enjoy live music, kids’ activities, and more.
Dublin Irish Tenors & Celtic Ladies – January 27th at Carolina Opry Theater at 6:00pm. Experience traditional folk ballads and contemporary songs. Be enchanted by their harmonies and lulled by the melodies.
Silent Cities – January 12th – March 1st at Brookgreen Gardens. Explore cemeteries in Brookgreen Gardens, learning about burial customs of European and African origin. Be aware that some treks are over dirt roads that are rough and natural terrain. If you have a physical condition, riding may be uncomfortable.


February Love:

Winter Teas – Every Saturday and Sunday in the month of February from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Held at the Azalea restaurant, enjoy hot teas and sweet pastries within Brookgreen Gardens.
4th Annual Ice Breaker Race – February 1st – 2nd at the Myrtle Beach Speedway. Come to the opening race of the season! Two-day event with the NASCAR Division Series.
8th Annual Father Daughter Dance - February 2nd at Ripley’s Aquarium from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Come to a semi-formal event for all the daddies, uncles, grandfathers with that special young girl. Music and refreshments provided.
11th  Annual Shuckin’ on the Strand – February 16th at the Hot Fish Club in Murrells Inlet. Participate in this event to taste local oysters, chicken bog, and other favorites. Tickets include all you-can-eat along with two drinks.
35th Annual Horry County Museum Quilt Gala – February 22nd - February 23rd at Ocean Lakes Family Campground Recreation Center. Explore the displays of creatively stitched art using a variety of technics and imagination.
Myrtle Beach Marathon – March 1st – March 2nd at 7:00am. Meet at the Field at Pelicans Ballpark. Here is the opportunity to run/walk the Myrtle Beach Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K, and Grande Dunes Family Fun Run!
