Discover New Holiday Traditions

A few years ago, my wife suggested that we go to Myrtle Beach for the holidays. Since we love to camp, we checked out the opportunities available at CampMyrtleBeach.com. We decided to take advantage of the excellent savings offered by each of the campground and created a bucket list of each one we wanted to visit. This was probably one of our best ideas ever as we have been able to make wonderful holiday memories, enjoy the sights and sounds of Myrtle Beach, and get our camping “fix” for the season.

Over the years we have brought our own RV, rented spacious cabins, camped in the Southern Pines, and celebrated the holidays on the ocean front. Every time we made a reservation, every campground was able to provide wonderful accommodations to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Some years the weather was warm, and some years the weather was cold. It was like opening up that special package on Christmas Day not knowing what you were going to get.

The kids and grandkids have always been worried that Santa would not be able to find them. But each year he always left presents under the tree. Those are some of the most special holiday memories my wife and I have ever encountered. We were able to go to tree lighting ceremonies, Christmas Shows, and many holiday festivals. One of the great things about Myrtle Beach is that they seem to have something for everyone.

As per anytime of year, the campgrounds were full of activities and amenities. We took advantage of brisk walks around the lake and leisurely strolls on the beach. We made tree ornaments, holiday cards, and snowmen made of sand. I guess you could say, we started our own traditions.
